Making AI Research Visible

Turning an abstract AI model into a clear product story for researchers, press, and digital audiences.

Overview

For Biohub’s release of GREmLN, I partnered with scientists and an animation studio to translate a complex computational biology system into a visual story supporting a multi-channel product launch.

The work needed to remain technically credible for researchers while being clear and memorable for broader audiences.

Role

Led creative production for the flagship animation from concept through final delivery, balancing scientific accuracy, product positioning, stakeholder feedback, and visual clarity.

The Challenge

How do you visualize something no one can actually see?

The animation needed to make an abstract artificial intelligence model intuitive without oversimplifying the underlying science.

Success depended on close collaboration among researchers, communicators, and animators throughout the creative process.
