A Home for
Muslim Creatives

Launching a searchable industry platform that helps Muslim filmmakers and storytellers find collaborators, talent, and new professional opportunities.

Overview

I supported communications and launch strategy for the Muslim Artist Database, a digital platform created by Pillars Fund in partnership with The Walt Disney Company.

The platform was designed to connect emerging and established Muslim professionals across filmmaking and storytelling, helping actors, directors, cinematographers, technicians, and other creatives find collaborators and expand their networks.

Role

Helped translate the platform’s community-building purpose into clear audience messaging and public launch materials.

The work required coordinating information across internal and external stakeholders while developing content that could encourage both artist enrollment and industry participation.

Led

  • Translated the platform’s community and industry value into clear launch messaging

  • Coordinated digital content and stakeholder inputs for the public rollout

  • Helped position the database for Muslim artists and industry professionals seeking collaborators

  • Supported launch communications for a platform intended to serve creatives at scale
