Overview
Pillars Fund launched the Artist Fellowship with Riz Ahmed’s Left Handed Films, supported by Netflix and Amazon MGM Studios and informed by research with the Annenberg Inclusion Initiative and Ford Foundation.
The program was built to provide Muslim screenwriters and directors with funding, mentorship, professional development, and industry access. The launch required a cohesive narrative across prominent partners, followed by a campaign introducing the inaugural ten fellows.
Role
Owned the digital communications strategy across web and social, developed the executive launch briefing, presented the marketing plan to the Board of Trustees, built a multi-partner social toolkit, and coordinated amplification across Pillars, Riz Ahmed, Netflix, Amazon MGM Studios, the Annenberg Inclusion Initiative, and the Ford Foundation.
